While the favourite strike rate of 40% suggests a day of mixed fortunes for market leaders, the surprise victory of Soligo (FR) at 19.00 in the Prix Soulange-bodin provided the most significant upset, proving that conditions played a major role in the day's results.
Favourites such as Mox (FR) and Lord Brett (FR) justified their support, but the defeat of the short-priced Delmegan in the 3:35 highlighted the volatility of the meeting, ultimately resulting in a competitive and rewarding day for those seeking value in the tricky French conditions.
