Trainers & Jockeys on the Day

Insight

Punters found the going tough at Bath, with a favourite strike rate of just 22%. While short-priced favourite Divide And Conquer (1.25) obliged for followers of Ralph Beckett, many other market leaders failed to land the spoils, leading to a day of competitive handicapping.

The performance of the day arguably belonged to the 19.00 outsider Forager, who defied the odds in the Sw Hire Handicap Stakes. It was a testament to the unpredictable nature of the track's sprint contests, as several fancied runners were turned over throughout the afternoon.
