Insight

The meeting proved difficult for market leaders, with a favourite strike rate of only 29%. Notable upsets occurred early in the day, headlined by the victory of Adba (FR) at odds of 15.00 in the opening maiden hurdle, a result that set the tone for a competitive and unpredictable card.

While the favourite Galway Reel (IRE) obliged comfortably in the 4:25 Steeple Chase and Un Sens A La Vie (FR) justified favouritism in the 5:30 Lincoln Handicap, several other fancied runners were turned over in tight finishes, including Moment Of Light (GB), who went down by just a head in the juvenile hurdle.
