Insight

It was a challenging afternoon for punters, with the favourite strike rate finishing at just 27%. While market leaders like Packing Fighter and Bustling City obliged, several high-profile favourites failed to fire, most notably in the feature Celebration Cup where the market leader finished out of the frame.

The day was headlined by the massive 35.00 upset of Wave Garden in the Tropicbird Handicap, which underscored the competitive nature of the card. Nichola Yuen was the standout performer in the saddle, securing a treble, while trainers P C Ng and K L Man shared training honours with two winners apiece.
